STR Visions Come to Real Life

As your STR Visionary, I’ve had the pleasure of working on some amazing projects—from transforming overlooked spaces into showstoppers to maximizing existing rentals that are already bringing in guests.

I put my heart into every detail to make sure your STR is not only profitable but also a space your guests will love. Take a peek at some of the exciting transformations I've brought to life, and let’s chat about how I can do the same for you!

01

Moose Meadow: Blah to Ahh

When we first walked into Moose Meadow, it was… well, let’s just say it lacked charm. Picture a drab room with zero color, barely any furniture, and a greasy reclining chair that screamed, “I’ve been through it.” But we saw the potential for so much more—a cozy cabin retreat guests would love!

We brought Moose Meadow to life with cabiny vibes galore: bold plaids, nature-inspired décor, and big, beautiful artwork that makes the space pop. To tie it all together, we added antique bronze finishes for that warm, polished feel. Now, Moose Meadow is a dreamy escape that guests can’t stop raving about—and that sad recliner? Long gone!

02

Lone Pine Lodge: Worn-Out to Wow

When we first walked into Lone Pine Lodge, it was clear this place had been working hard as a short-term rental—but it was tired. Think mismatched furniture that looked like it came from five different yard sales, tiny TVs you had to squint at, saggy beds that had lost their oomph, and linens so faded they were practically waving a white flag. And the guests were lucky if they found a spatula in the kitchen.

We knew this gem needed some TLC, so we rolled up our sleeves. Fresh, stylish furniture brought the lodge back to life, and bigger, binge-worthy TVs gave it a modern upgrade. We swapped saggy beds for dreamy ones, upgraded the linens to crisp and cozy perfection, and stocked the kitchen so well it could handle a Thanksgiving dinner. Now, Lone Pine Lodge is no longer just a stopover—it’s a place guests can’t wait to book again!

03

Pine Mountain Lodge: Oh No to Oh Yeah

When we first stepped into Pine Mountain Lodge, it was like walking into a time capsule of family life—cluttered rooms, undersized beds, and bulky furniture. The quirky layout didn’t help, and then there was the kitchen. Y’all, mouse droppings, and a floor that had seen better decades.

We rearranged the living and dining spaces, brought king-sized beds with clever storage, and completely gutted that kitchen. The pièce de résistance? A hot tub and a reinsulated garage to create the ultimate snowmobiler’s paradise. Now, Pine Mountain Lodge is cozy, functional, and full of personality—a winter wonderland guests can’t get enough of. It’s gone from “oh no” to “oh wow,” and we couldn’t be more proud of the transformation!

04

Cacti Casa: Drab to Dreamy

When we walked into Cacti Casa, it was clear this place had potential—but it needed some major TLC. A widower lived in the upper floor, while the lower unit was rented out. The floors were water-damaged, the walls were painted blah cream, and the furniture? There wasn’t much to write home about. But those Sedona red rock views? Chef’s kiss. We knew with the right touches, this place could be absolutely stunning.

So, we got to work! We swapped out the damaged floors for fresh, durable ones, brought in furniture that felt cozy yet stylish, and added bold, vibrant colors to reflect the beauty of the outdoors. Those red rock hues and desert vibes came alive inside, turning the space into a welcoming retreat. Now, Cacti Casa is everything guests dream of when they come to Sedona—a warm, inviting home that highlights its incredible views and makes every stay unforgettable.

05

Saguaro Studio: Sparse to Superb

When we first checked out Saguaro Studio, it was... cute, but let’s be real—pretty basic. No living space, no dishwasher, no full-size fridge, and the outdoor setup was just a couple of chairs with no grill in sight. The kitchenette was stocked, but barely, so unless guests wanted to live off takeout, it wasn’t super practical. It had potential, but it wasn’t there yet.

We got to work turning this little studio into a cozy, self-sufficient gem! We added everything it needed: a full fridge, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer, and even a comfy living area with a TV for movie nights. The king-size bed was a total game-changer. Outside, we added a grill and revamped the seating to create a sweet little hangout spot. Now, Saguaro Studio is the perfect tiny retreat where guests can kick back, cook in, and feel totally at home.

Casa Colibri: Quirky Charm to Pure Magic

Casa Colibri had us at “hello.” The couple who owned it took great care of the place, and those views—wow. Walking through the front gate, you’re greeted by fragrant flowers that make you feel like you’ve stumbled into a secret garden. But while the house had great bones, it also had its quirks. The backyard? All grass, which in Arizona means sky-high water bills. Inside, it was calling out for fresh paint, new furniture, better lighting, and a full revamp of the entertainment spaces.

We let the house’s magic guide us. Out went the grass, and in came a dreamy pool, hot tub, and fire pit perfectly positioned to soak in those jaw-dropping red rock views. Inside, we kept the charm while giving it a glow-up with cozy furniture and lighting that made every room feel warm and welcoming. Casa Colibri is one of those places that’s hard to describe—until you’re there. It’s got a vibe that sticks with you long after you leave.

07

Nord Star: Funky Cabin to Dreamy Dome

The Nord Star had us hooked from the start—a geodesic dome on the North Shore of Minnesota? So cool! But when we walked in, it was clear this place needed some serious love. Mattresses on the floor, bunk beds crammed into the living room, tiny TVs, and a kitchen that looked more “campground” than “cabin chic.” And the deck wasn’t exactly inspiring confidence. But we could see the potential—the quirky design, the views, the vibe—it was all waiting to be brought to life.

With a whole lot of paint, some midcentury modern magic, and a treasure hunt on Facebook Marketplace, we gave this dome the glow-up it deserved. We turned it into a stylish, cohesive space that celebrates its funky geometry while making guests feel right at home. The new deck is solid (literally) and perfectly set up for enjoying those jaw-dropping views, complete with a cozy gas firepit. Now, The Nord Star isn’t just a stay—it’s a destination for elopements, photoshoots, or anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind escape on the North Shore.

08

Nord Haven: Tired to Totally Cozy

Nord Haven is small but mighty—just 800 square feet of potential waiting to shine. When we first stepped in, though, it was like walking into a time capsule. Musty quilts hung on the walls, faded bedding adorned saggy mattresses, and the kitchen table looked like it might give up if you set down one more coffee mug. The kitchen was more like a puzzle with no instructions. But we could see it: a modern, cozy retreat with all the charm of Northern Minnesota.

First up, we said goodbye to the tired decor and hello to nature-inspired artwork that brought the outdoors in with a fresh, modern vibe. The tongue-and-groove stayed (because what’s a cabin without it?), but everything else got a major upgrade. Furniture finds from Facebook Marketplace, soft new bedding, fresh lighting, and—drumroll—a fully remodeled kitchen with an actual dishwasher transformed Nord Haven into a space you’ll never want to leave. Now, it’s the perfect spot to kick back, relax, and soak up that Northwoods magic—no saggy mattresses required!
